’17 Acura NSX CQuartz Reserve and Xpel Ultimate!
“NSX has always provoked an intense reaction. And when it’s driven, the response is unparalleled. This is a car created with and for emotion, engineered to become an extension of its driver with such fidelity, it’s hard to find the line between man and machine.” -Acura.
Every vehicle that comes in for paint protection film or polishing must receive a preliminary wash to get rid of any dirt and debris that might be on the paints surface. We use only the finest car washing materials and products during this process from CarPro USA! All vehicles receive a proper 2-bucket wash and our dried with plush microfiber drying towels.
Our customer wanted to protect his investment! The best way to do that is to use Xpel Ultimate self healing film to protect the high impact areas from road debris. We covered the full front end, rocker panels, rear wheel impact and a-pillar/partial roof. This Acura NSX came from the factory with some paint protection film already installed on the rocker panels. This pre-installed film tends to yellow very quickly and is usually a lesser quality film. We recommended replacing these with Xpel Ultimate self healing film like the rest of the vehicle was getting.
After the Xpel has been installed, we proceeded the necessary steps for the Cquartz application. First we needed to perform our New Car Prep, on all exterior painted surfaces, to decontaminate the paint and remove any light swirls/scratches. Once the vehicle has been polished, we use CarPro Eraser to remove any residue or chemicals on the paints surface. Time to apply the coating! Our customer wanted to have the best products used on his new NSX. CarPro recently released their newest coating called Cquartz Finest Reserve. This new ceramic coating has increased longevity (3-5 years), glossiness and quicker flashing time during the application process. We also ceramic coated the wheel faces, barrels and brake calipers using Cquartz Professional.
This NSX is now protected with Xpel Ultimate paint protection film! It will keep its “showroom” quality finish for many years to come thanks to Cquartz’s newest ceramic coating called Cquartz Finest Reserve! Check out some images we captured below of the finished product.
